TRANSPARENCY

Transparency

How GovLegis documents sourcing, analysis, corrections, and editorial independence.
GovLegis is committed to transparency in methodology, sourcing, and editorial independence. This page describes how analyses are produced, corrected, and published.

Editorial standards

GovLegis applies consistent analytical standards across subjects. Claims are based on publicly available documents whenever possible. Where information is incomplete, uncertain, or subject to interpretation, those limits are disclosed explicitly.

Sources and documentation

GovLegis relies on publicly available government documents, datasets, reports, and oversight materials. Analyses reference the information available at the time of publication. Where source material is not publicly accessible, that limitation is noted.

Corrections

Errors are corrected publicly. Substantive corrections are noted with the date of the correction and a description of the change. Minor typographical errors may be corrected without notation.

Independence and funding

GovLegis is independently operated. Funding, access, or correspondence does not confer editorial control. No government entity, political organization, or advocacy group has authority over GovLegis content.
